Welcome back to Old Center Elem. School for another great year of learning. We have several new additions to our Old Center family. Mark Your calendar for Thursday, Sept. 4. We will be hosting our annual Open House and Title I Meeting. Kindergarten will be at 5:30 p.m. and Pre-K, 1-4 grades will be at 6:30. Come and meet your child’s teacher and hear our plans for a fabulous school year.

********** Remember: Sale started on Monday, August 25 and will continue through Monday, Sept. 8. The cost is only $12 and are available from many surrounding counties. Students that sell one card will participate in the DJ party. Students selling two cards will go to the Ice Cream party. Sell additional cards for more prizes. Sell the prize handout in your Smart Card packet. All funds raised will be used to provide resources for our students & teachers.
********** Important Information for Parents: On Wednesday, Aug. 20, the Code of Conduct booklet was send home. Please read and sign the last page. Your child will need this page sign so they can participate in the Math Lab, Computer lab and AR program.
********** School Time 8:00 - 3:00 Doors open at 7:40 a.m. Students are tardy after 8:00 a.m.
Don’t forget, 2nd, 3rd & 4th grade students, the up coming field trip to Cheekwood on Friday, Sept. 5. Please make sure all permission slips and money are turned in by Wednesday, Sept. 3. All students must have a permission slip to go on this trip.
