The students here at Old Center Elementary are Wild About Reading! Each nine weeks, students work with their teachers to set a reading goal for that nine weeks. As students complete their books, they take an Accelerated Reader test and/or write a book report. At the end of the nine weeks, all students who meet their goals are invited to have lunch in the library. It is a special honor to be invited. At the end of the year, students who have met their goal each nine weeks will be invited to join us for a field trip to the zoo!
