From the Library…..

We will be using the BoxTops for Education to help support the library again this year. Be sure to look for the label when you do your shopping. Each classroom will have a collection box so have your child take them to the classroom. At the end of each grading period, the classroom that collected the most during that the grading period will receive ice cream! Funds will be used to buy books and materials for the library.

Be sure to watch for the bright green letter your child will be bringing home from the library. This letter explains the library program here at Old Center and there is a form at the bottom of the page for you to fill out and return. If you have any special instructions about what your child can or cannot check out from the library, please add them at the bottom of the form.

Volunteers needed!

We can always use volunteers in the library! Your duties may include helping students check out books, helping students with Accelerated Reader testing, shelving books, preparing new books for the shelves and other basic library jobs. If you think this would be something you would like to do, please contact Mrs. Echols at 859-8968, extension 208.

Come to school and see what we are doing and help out!!!!!
